FREE KAYAKING

Kick off your summer with FREE kayaking on the Hudson River. Paddle on the city’s waterways while capturing some breathtaking views.

THE MERMAID PARADE

Does it get any more magical than mermaids? Brace yourself for the magic. Every year Coney Island hosts one of the world’s largest parades, The Mermaid Parade. Normally held in mid to late June you can expect nothing but non-stop fun.  

SMORGASBURG FOOD FESTIVAL

If you love to eat you won’t want to miss out on the Smorgasburg Food Festival this year. Saturday’s by the Waterfront in Williamsburg and Sunday’s in Prospect Park, this event will leave you in complete bliss. Plus it’s free to attend so all you have to worry about is paying for your food. How amazing is that?

MUSEUM MILE FESTIVAL

The Museum Mile Festival, New York’s biggest block party for art lovers is happening again this year. On June 13th from 6pm-9pm you can expect to enjoy tons of street art, live music and fun. Held on fifth-avenue, from 82nd street all the way down to 105th street you definitely won’t want to miss out on this.

CONEY ISLAND'S FLICKS ON THE BEACH

Get ready for a festive movie night right on Coney Island’s beachside. Bring a date or a friend and grab a nice cozy spot under the stars.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

"To be or not to be," in case you haven’t heard Shakespeare in the Park is back and in full effect. Every summer at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, plays honoring Shakespeare’s work beautifully bring theater outside. Although the plays have begun since May you have up until August 13th to catch it. Be sure to get there early because the good seats fill up quick.

POETRY FESTIVAL

If you love poetry, you’ll love this. New York’s 7th annual Poetry Festival is en route. The two-day festival held on July 29th and 30 is nothing but fun. With music, art and food you’re bound to have a great time.

OUTDOOR FEST

If you’re down for adventures you’ll be down for this. Outdoor Fest held June 3rd – June 12th have events for each day. From rock climbing to hiking and even surfing you definitely won’t get bored.  Stay in the loop with all the fun adventures that will be taking place.
