Men's Fashion Week: NBA Stars Off the Court 'Paris Edition'

BY ANASTASIA FOX

Tall, talented and tenacious are three words that sum up this year’s spectators for Men’s Fashion Week. Flocking to Paris, some of your favorite players show that they are much more than what you see on the basketball court. With the rather recent mergence of sports and fashion some of the NBA’s most notable players are taking a more intentional approach in being up to date with the latest fashion do’s and don’ts. It looks like the days of boring ill-fitting suits might actually be over. After all, who said athletes can’t have style too?

Louis Vuitton, Dior, Sacai, and VLONE, some of the shows attended had some of the best styles sitting front and center from their attendees. With outfits ranging from gold chains, graphic tees and vans to more extravagant sets, blouses and loafers one thing was for sure, these athletes did not come to serve anything less a look worthy of being talked about. Players like Dwyane Wade, a regular attendee of Paris Fashion Week and Russell Westbrook creative director of the denim brand ‘True Religion’ are accurate depictions of just that. With superb skills on the court and A+ outfits off the court it’s safe to say they are extending their names beyond the realms of basketball. Dressed to impress it was interesting to see a different side than what we’re use to from these players.
